How Intime works, what it costs, and how to stay safe on it.
About Intime
Instead of judging a whole person in one swipe, you like one thing they shared, a photo or an answer to a question, and you can add a line about why. If they like you back, that line becomes your first message, so the conversation already has something to talk about.
Yes. You can make a profile, like people, match and message for free. The free plan gives you 8 likes a day and one Moment a week. Intime+ is an optional subscription that removes those limits and adds a few extras.
Adults, 18 and over, who live in the United States and would like to meet someone. It's built for people who would rather have one good conversation than a hundred openers.
Not yet. A dating app only works well when there are plenty of people near you, so we're starting with one country and doing it properly. Phone numbers must be US numbers.
No. Intime is an app for iPhone and Android, because the face check, photos and notifications all work best on your phone.
Your account
Download the app and sign up with your email address, a US phone number, or your Google account. We'll send you a code to confirm it's you.
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password. You can reset it with a code sent to your email address or your phone.
Yes. Pausing takes you out of Discover, so no new people will see you, while you keep your matches and chats. Turn it back on whenever you're ready.
In the app, go to Settings, then Delete account. Your profile, photos, answers, matches and messages are deleted. If you have Intime+, cancel it in the App Store or Google Play as well, because deleting your account doesn't stop the store charging you.
Yes. Go to Settings, then Download my data, and we'll prepare a copy of everything we hold about you.
Your profile
Up to 6, and at least 2 to finish setting up. Clear photos of your face, a full-length one and one of something you love tend to work best.
You can answer up to 3 questions from a list of 25, such as "A perfect Sunday looks like", and write your answers. You can also record a voice prompt of up to 30 seconds. Answers are what people like most, so they're worth a minute.
Any time, from the Profile tab: photos, answers, voice prompt, bio and the rest.
You take a selfie in the app, and someone on our team compares it with your photos. If they match, you get a Verified badge. The selfie is deleted once the check is done. If you change most of your photos at once, you'll be asked to check again, so the badge always matches your face.
No. Sharing your location lets Intime show you people nearby and keep up when you travel. If you'd rather not, you can choose a city instead. Either way, nobody ever sees where you are. Your distance is hidden unless you choose to show it, and then it's in whole miles, rounded up. You can hide your city too.
Likes, matches and messages
Tap the button on a photo or an answer, and add a comment if you like. They'll see exactly what you liked and what you wrote.
On the free plan, 8 a day, and they refill every day. Intime+ has no limit.
A Moment is a like that goes to the front of the other person's Likes, ahead of everyone else. The free plan includes one a week, so it means something when you send it.
When someone you liked likes you back, it's a match, and your comment becomes the first message in your chat.
Seeing everyone who has liked you is part of Intime+. Whichever plan you're on, when you like someone who has already liked you, you'll match straight away.
A chat you've read but haven't answered stays marked Your turn until you reply, so a good conversation doesn't quietly slip away.
If neither of you writes for two weeks, a chat moves to Hidden. One new message from either of you brings it straight back.
Yes. You can choose to get messages only from people who have passed the face check.
Intime+
Unlimited likes and Moments, seeing everyone who has liked you, Incognito (only people you've liked can see you), read receipts, and the other extras listed in the app. Everything to do with safety is free for everyone.
$9.99 for a week, $24.99 for a month, or $59.99 for six months, which works out to $2.31 a week. The price in the app before you confirm is the one you pay.
In your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, at least 24 hours before it renews. You keep Intime+ until the end of the time you've paid for.
Payments go through Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them: for Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google, from your Google Play order history. Some states give you a right to cancel within three business days. See section 10 of our Terms.
Yes. The new plan starts when your current one ends, so you never pay twice for the same time.
Safety and privacy
Open their profile or your chat with them and tap the menu. You can report the whole profile, or just one photo, answer, voice prompt or message. Reports are reviewed by a person, and the person you report isn't told who reported them. Blocking is instant, and they aren't told.
Past matches stay in the Safety tab, with a copy of what was said, so you can still report someone after they've disappeared.

No. We don't sell your information, there are no ads, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
Call 911. Then, when you're safe, report the person in the app so we can act.
